Founder & CEO of AOC
The founder of Advance Option Chain (AOC), a platform for options trading in India with real-time data and analytics, empowering traders with tools, strategies and insights.
Features
Every tool reads the same live option data, so the levels agree across screens.
OI, OI change, volume, LTP and PCR for every strike, with the highest open interest highlighted so resistance, support and max pain stand out.
The strike with the highest call open interest marks resistance and the strike with the highest put open interest marks support. AOC finds them live and draws them as R and S lines on the chart beside the chain.
Why AOC
AOC Calculator (Advance Option Chain) turns live open interest into levels you can trade: support, resistance, PCR and max pain on one screen, with a back tester, screeners and live mentorship around it.
AOC reads live open interest across every strike and marks the strikes with the highest call OI as resistance and the highest put OI as support. The same levels are drawn as R and S lines on a live candlestick chart beside the option chain, so you see the level and the price action together.
Yes. The AOC Back Tester replays any past trading session of the option chain minute by minute, with the OI, PCR and support and resistance as they were at that moment, so you can test a setup before trading it live.
AOC covers NSE index options (NIFTY, BANKNIFTY, FINNIFTY, MIDCPNIFTY), BSE SENSEX, stocks in the NSE F&O segment and MCX commodities such as crude oil, natural gas, gold and silver.
AOC includes Power Stocks, AI Stocks for trapped option writers (Big Bull / Big Bear), Oi2Oi for trades from one OI wall towards the other and Triple S/R for intraday levels, all built from the same live option data, plus sector analysis to see which sectors lead and lag.
Yes, with Alice Blue. Traders with an Alice Blue account can place trades from AOC, Alice Blue and Lemonn account holders who make at least one F&O trade in a week get AOC Pro free for the next week, renewed every Sunday.
AOC runs a free live evening webinar every weekday from 7 to 8:30 PM IST with Q&A and live MCX analysis. AOC Academy offers structured courses, and mentors teach in Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali and Telugu at offline centres in several Indian cities.
Use AOC anywhere: web, Android, iPhone, iPad, Mac and Windows, on one account.

In Indian options trading, AOC means Advance Option Chain: an option chain tool that marks support, resistance and reversal levels from OI. What it shows and how traders use it.
An option chain lists every call and put of a stock or index by strike for one expiry, with LTP, OI, OI change, volume and IV. How to read the NIFTY option chain.
Analyse an option chain in five steps: find the OI walls, check today's OI change, test whether levels are holding or shifting, read PCR, then plan the trade. Worked NIFTY example.
LTP is the last traded price: the price of the most recent trade in an option or stock. What call LTP and put LTP mean in the option chain, and how LTP differs from the close.
An option premium is intrinsic value plus time value. How NIFTY option premiums are priced, what moves them, and a worked example you can check on any option chain.
Put-call ratio (PCR) is total put OI divided by total call OI. How to calculate PCR, how traders read it on NIFTY and BANKNIFTY, and where to see today's NIFTY PCR.
Max pain is the expiry price at which option buyers lose the most and writers pay out the least. How max pain is calculated and how to use NIFTY max pain near expiry.
Open interest (OI) is the number of option or futures contracts still open. What OI means in the option chain, put OI vs call OI, and what high call OI tells you.
OI change is how much open interest has risen or fallen since the previous day. What change in OI means in the option chain and how to read it with price.
Implied volatility (IV) is the future volatility an option price implies, as an annual percentage. What IV in the option chain means, why it rises before events and how it moves premiums.
Option Greeks (delta, gamma, theta, vega) measure how an option price reacts to the underlying, time and volatility. Plain meanings with NIFTY examples, and where to see delta.
Time value is the part of an option premium above intrinsic value. How to calculate time value for calls and puts, why it decays to zero at expiry, and how traders use it.
Find support and resistance from the option chain: highest put OI below spot is support, highest call OI above is resistance. How to tell strong levels from shifting ones.
OI buildup reads price change together with open interest change: long buildup, short buildup, short covering and long unwinding, with NIFTY futures and options examples.
Where to get historical option chain data for NIFTY, BANKNIFTY and F&O stocks: NSE end-of-day files, paid vendors, and minute-by-minute replays in the AOC Back Tester.
Backtest option strategies by replaying past sessions minute by minute: OI, PCR, support and resistance as they were. Free ways to do it and how the AOC Back Tester works.
Three ways to get NSE option chain data into Excel: the NSE CSV download, a broker API, and why web queries break. What works for live data and what does not.
An option calculator estimates an option's fair price and Greeks from spot, strike, expiry, IV and rates. How it differs from AOC's LTP Calculator and how to use one.
The Market Mood Index (MMI) is a 0 to 100 fear and greed gauge for the Indian market. What each zone means, how traders use it, and where to see today's MMI free.
Stock screeners built from F&O option chain data: Power Stocks, AI Stocks, Oi2Oi and Triple S/R in AOC, and what each one finds among NSE F&O stocks.
Option chain kaise dekhe: LTP, OI, OI change, PCR aur support resistance ko aasan Hindi mein samjhiye. NIFTY aur BANKNIFTY option chain padhne ka tareeka.
FAQ
AOC Calculator (Advance Option Chain) is an option chain analysis tool for NSE, BSE, MCX and crypto markets that shows option chains with open interest, OI change, volume, implied volatility, Greeks, PCR and support and resistance levels on one screen.
It was started in February 2023 by Raj Shah and is available on the web, Android and iOS.
AOC is free for learning and the Back Tester is free; live data and advanced stock screeners are available with an AOC Pro subscription.
The public symbol pages, the Market Mood Index, the options glossary and this FAQ are also free.
Public symbol pages such as /optionchain/nifty show a summary delayed by 15 minutes: PCR, max pain and the strikes with the highest call and put open interest. Current plans and prices are on the Pricing page.
AOC covers the index options NIFTY, BANKNIFTY, FINNIFTY, MIDCPNIFTY and SENSEX, plus the stocks in the NSE F&O segment. It also covers MCX commodities and the crypto symbols BTC and ETH.
Use the symbol search on the option chain screen to switch between them.
For AOC Pro users the option chain updates automatically during market hours (09:15 to 15:30 IST, Monday to Friday) as soon as a new snapshot is published, without refreshing the page.
Data is streamed over a live connection. If that connection drops or goes quiet, the app reconnects automatically and picks up the latest snapshot.
Red marks the highest value on the call (CE) side, green marks the highest value on the put (PE) side, and yellow marks the second highest on either side.
Cells at or above the highlight percentage of the maximum (75% by default, adjustable in settings) get a lighter yellow. Highlights apply to OI, OI change and volume.
The chain header shows a resistance level (CE R) and a support level (PE S) that AOC's server computes from open-interest data for the current expiry.
As a rule of thumb, the strike with the highest call open interest acts as resistance and the strike with the highest put open interest acts as support. The chart panel also draws the nearest support and resistance lines around the current price.
